Grocery Store Pics for week of 5/04/10

Boy what a week last week......can't even DREAM of going to the grocery store after triples....WOW!!!

Red Seedless Grapes, $1.79/lb
Asparagus $1.99/lb

Purchase any 4 and get $1 off your order instantly:
Ronzoni Pasta 8.8-16.0 ounce

Mahatma Rice 5 ounce-20lb
Success/Minute rice 4.4-32.0 ounce
It has been reported that Ronzoni is BOGO, but I will confirm.  Also, look out for the blinkie machines for the Ronzoni in the pasta section.  The could make for some really cheap/free pasta!!!

Edy's Icecream $1.99

$.88/lb. Harris Teeter Fresh Split Chicken Breast

$5.99/lb. HT Rancher Beef NY Strip Steak or Steakhouse Roast

3/$5 Kellogg's Pop Tarts, $1.25 off 3
= $3.75/3 = $1.25 ea. (not a fantastic deal, but DD is DYING for these)

Lowes Foods will have their three week coupons in the sales flyer.  Make sure you keep a copy of the flyer.  They are hard to find after the first week.  You can use these in combination with your manufacturer's coupons.

Some of the best deals that I see using these coupons are:
Betty Crocker Cookie Mix $1.29 (limit 8), use the .40 from 3/28 Smart Source
= $.49

LF Ice Cream 64 oz. $1.88 (limit 4) - something to consider if you're low on icecream!!

Wesson Vegetable or Best Blend Oil 48 oz. $2.38 (limit 4), use the .25 coupon from 3/25 Smart Source
= $1.88 (I have gotten this for as low as $1.35 before, but still a great price)

Regular Sale items:
LF 12 pack Drinking Water 2/$3 (limit 4)

Bounty Papertowels small rolls $.89, use .25 coupon from 5/2 Proctor and Gamble
= $.39

Duncan Hines Brownie Mix, $.90 or $.95, use the .55/2 from 3/28 Smart Source
= $.35 or $.40 ea

Duncan Hines Cake Mix, $1, use .55/2 from the 3/28 Smart Source.  Buy 4 and get $2 in Fresh Rewards
.20 MONEY MAKER after Fresh Rewards!!!!

Duncan Hines Frosting, $1.25, use .55/2 from the 3/28 Smart Source. Buy 4 and get $2 in Fresh Rewards
= .80 for all 4, or .20 ea after Fresh Rewards

Scenario:
Buy 2 cake mixes and 2 frostings:
2 x 1.00 = 2.00
2 x 1.25 = 2.25
Subtotal: 4.25
Minus coupons= -2.20
Minus FR = - 2.20
Total: .20 for all four!!!
WOW!!!!

Peter Pan Peanut Butter 2/$3 (limit 4), use the $1.50/4 printable, Link: Peter Pan
= $4.50/4 = $1.13 ea

As far as the Fresh Rewards go - keep in mind that they print out in $5 increments.  I use these to buy produce and milk that I don't have coupons for.  The Fresh Rewards expire in one month.
