I admit - before I started couponing, I used Harris Teeter's Express Lane for my grocery orders from time to time. The $4.95 fee was well worth being able to shop online over the course of a few days, place your order and pull up so that they could load your groceries for you. AND - it seemed it was raining every time. I felt like a celebrity without the paparazzi.
Here is your chance to try it out for free!!! Harris Teeter is waiving the fee through March 5th.
Create an account online, choose the store what you'd like to pick up from and Harris Teeter will do all of the work for you. Swing by the store, pay and pick up your groceries. They even have a speaker you pull up to, press a button and let them know your name, so you don't have to get out of the car!
Are you concerned about freshness? Every time I have used them, everything is very fresh. They even chose my banannas the way that I like them (you can tell them your preferences). Coupons???? From HT's website:
- "Coupons are accepted at the time of pickup and applied to your next online order. The actual coupon credit will not be shown online. However, the receipt you receive when you pickup up your groceries will reflect the discount. If you turn in a coupon for an item purchased on an order today, you don't have to purchase that item on your next order. It's simply a credit waiting for you. Anytime coupons are given during a Super Double or Triple coupon event, we make sure you get that credit on your next order as well."

Thank you for that post - not just the note about it being free until March 5, but the additional coupon note. I've always wondered, and that's why I haven't tried the Express Lane!
Thank you!
